Using Ground Freight Schedule
1. When you first enter the Ground Freight Schedule Report a Select An Option window appears with the following options:
- EXIT – Select EXIT to exit from the Ground Freight Schedule Report and return to the main menu.
- BY CARRIER – Select BY CARRIER to run the report sorted by the carrier assigned to the sales order.
- BY ROUTE – Select BY ROUTE to run the report sorted by the route assigned to the sales order.
Select the appropriate option. The report will contain the same information, it will just be sorted accordingly.
2. Enter the starting and ending ship dates for the report you desire.
3. A Select An Option window will display with the following options:
- EXIT – Select EXIT to return to the first Select An Option window.
- ALL (Carriers or Routes, depending upon your selection in Step #1) – Select ALL Carriers/Routes to generate the report for all carriers or all routes.
- A list of carriers/routes – A list of carriers/routes defined in the system.
Enter either the carrier or route from the pop-up window, depending on the grouping order you selected in Step #1. Select one or more specific choices, or select ALL by scrolling to the selection and pressing Enter. An asterisk (*) will appear confirming your selection. Select EXIT to continue.
4. The following message will display: " Split orders by location? No/Yes."
- Select no and the report will not be split by location.
- Select yes and the report will be split by location.
The following information will display:
- Carrier/Route – The carrier ID if the report was generated for a carrier/carriers or the route ID if route was selected by route.
- Name – The name of the carrier or route
- Ship – The shipping date
- Order – The sales order number
- Cust – The ship-to customer ID on the order
- Customer Name – The ship-to customer name
- Loc – The location of the items if the item on the sales order is lotted
- Weight – The total weight of all items ordered.
5. Command options appear:
- Print(X) – Select Print(X) to print the report. Command options will appear, allowing you to print or choose from a set of other print options.
- Next Page – Select Next Page to move forward one page if the report does not fit on one screen. Select Prior Page to move back one page.
- Exit – Select Exit to return to the first Select An Option window.
